GENERAL RULES


1. THE PROVOST IS TO MAINTAIN ORDER IN THE CAMPSITES, BATTLEFIELD AND OTHER EVENT AREAS.  IF PROBLEMS ARISE, SEEK OUT A PROVOST GUARD, IF NECESSARY, HE WILL GET EVENT OR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.


2. EVERYONE MUST REGISTER  ($1.00 Donation for all reenactors and their adult family members)ALL REGISTRANTS MUST SIGN A LIABILITY RELEASE   INCLUDING WOMEN AND CHILDREN


3. NO FIRING OF ANY WEAPON OR FIREWORKS IN CAMP OR SPECTATOR AREAS.  ABSOLUTELY NO MODERN FIREARMS ARE ALLOWED!


4. QUIET HOURS: 11:00 P.M. TILL 6:00 A.M.   ALL CHILDREN MUST BE UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES.  IF THIS RULE ISN'T FOLLOWED YOU MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE.


5. NO ALCOHOL.


6. THE OVERALL COMMANDER AND THE US OR CS COMMANDER, OR HIS CHIEF OF STAFF, MUST APPROVE MILITARY RANK FOR ALL OFFICERS AND PROVOST ABOVE THE RANK OF CAPTAIN PRIOR TO THE EVENT.


7. ALL OFFICERS MUST HAVE SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF MEN TO JUSTIFY THEIR MILITARY RANK.


                                                              CAMP GUIDELINES


1. CAMPS HAVE BEEN LAID OUT ACCORDING TO U.S. ARMY REGS - 1861 REVISED.  PLEASE FOLLOW PROVOST'S INSTRUCTIONS ON SETTING UP AND FOLLOW COMPANY STREETS.  NO FIRES IN COMPANY STREETS.  FIRES ARE ALLOWED BETWEEN OFFICER ROW AND COMPANY STREETS.  COLOR LINE IS AT OPPOSITE END FROM OFFICER ROW.


2. KEEP ALL MODERN ITEMS HIDDEN FROM VIEW OF PUBLIC AND OTHER AUTHENTIC CAMPERS DURING ENTIRE WEEKEND. (GAS STOVES, LIGHTS, RADIOS, ETC.)


3. WHENEVER IN AUTHENTIC CAMPS-DO FIRST PERSON IMPRESSIONS.  AUTHENTIC CAMPERS MUST BE IN PERIOD COSTUME ENTIRE WEEKEND.


4. ONCE YOUR GEAR IS UNLOADED, PLEASE MOVE VEHICLES TO OTHER DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS. 


      SAFETY GUIDELINES


1. ALL WEAPONS ARE TO BE INSPECTED BEFORE BEING ALLOWED ON THE FIELD.  WEAPONS NOT INSPECTED OR WEAPONS FAILING INSPECTION WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD. ALL WEAPONS MUST BE OF THE CORRECT TIME PERIOD FOR MILITARY USE. NO FLINTLOCK RIFLES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD. SHOT GUNS OR MUSKETOONS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE USED WITHIN THE INFANTRY RANKS. SHOT GUNS OR MUSKETOONS MAY BE USED WITHIN THE RANKS OF THE ARTILLERY WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE ARTILLERY COMMANDER.

     

2. ONLY CAVALRY, OFFICERS, ARTILLERY AND SENIOR NCO'S MAY CARRY PISTOLS ON THE FIELD AND THESE WILL BE INSPECTED BY THE SAFETY OFFICER.  NO INFANTRY MAN BELOW THE RANK OF SERGEANT SHALL HAVE A PISTOL.  NO WONDER WADS WAD CUTTERS, ETC.


3. ALL CARTRIDGES WILL BE MADE PRIOR TO TAKING THE FIELD AND SECURED BY FOLDING   NO STAPLES.  NO RAMMING OF CARTRIDGES OR PAPER WADING WILL BE ALLOWED.
